Kahana Bay Beach Park is located on the east side (windward) of Oahu. The water is not the most crystal clear on the island which makes it not the best for swimming or snorkeling, however Kahana Bay Beach Park is definitely worth a visit as it is secluded and peaceful. There are some amazing hikes in around the area, so this is a must visit on your trip. ​ As it is one of the more secluded beaches you will not find your typical amenities such as bathrooms or lifeguards on duty. Many days you will see local fisherman catching fish, so feel free to bring your pole if you want to try your hand at it. Make sure to look into catch restrictions and get the proper permits. Kahana Bay is a great place for having a bbq or picnic with the family.
