Description
Experience this 6.4-kilometer out-and-back trail near Honolulu, Oahu. While generally considered challenging, it typically takes around 2 hours and 35 minutes to complete. Due to its popularity for birding, hiking, and walking, expect to encounter other people along the way. The trail remains open year-round, offering beauty regardless of the season. Dogs are permitted but must be leashed.
This trail offers a mix of dense rainforest and expansive views of the mountains and lush valleys. Along the way, you may spot a variety of flowers in bloom. Be prepared for muddy conditions, particularly after rainfall. The trailhead is located along Tantalus Drive.
