Hawaiian Kingdom Tour
Embark on a journey through Honolulu's rich history, starting with a pick-up from your Waikiki hotel. Our first destination is the iconic Iolani Palace, a testament to Hawaii's proud heritage. Built in 1882 by King Kalakaua, it once served as the royal residence and epicenter of Hawaiian culture until 1893. Designated as a National Historic Landmark since 1962, this living restoration allows you to step into the world of Hawaii's last monarchs, King Kalakaua and Queen Liliuokalani.
Following this immersive experience, we'll venture to the Bishop Museum, renowned as the Hawai'i State Museum of Natural and Cultural History. Established in 1889, it boasts the world's largest collection of Polynesian artifacts and over 24 million natural history specimens, including an extensive entomological collection.
After a delightful lunch at a local restaurant (not included), we'll enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the Honolulu Zoo. Spanning 42 acres within the royal Queen Kapiʻolani Park, it is the only zoo in the US founded through grants from a monarch. With over 1,230 animals housed in carefully crafted habitats, the zoo promises a fun and educational experience for all ages.
